What the Critics Say

"It's hard to argue with this practicality or with Audi's wholly rational approach to building an EV. The e-tron is a competent, well-engineered piece that makes few compromises compared to Audi's gasoline-powered SUVs." -- Car and Driver

"As with rival EVs such as the Jaguar I-Pace and the Tesla Model X, the e-tron benefits from acceleration that is smooth, silent and swift. On top of that, the e-tron presents important advantages such as a large cargo area and a refined interior. Also helping the Audi e-tron's case is its standard 150-kW DC fast-charge capability, which Audi says can get the vehicle from zero charge to 80% full in a scant 30 minutes. This charging rate is quicker than what a Tesla Supercharger can do." -- Edmunds

Audi e-tron Features

Audi e-tron Performance

Electrified Performance & Capability

The Audi e-tron incorporates the power of twin electric motors along with a large 95 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery. A result of this massive battery capacity, the e-tron can deliver a maximum range of up to 204 miles*. This sophisticated system works in unison to produce an impressive total system output of 335 system horsepower. While pushing the limits of efficiency, the e-tron delivers the performance of a sports car thanks to its ability to rocket from 0 to 60 in just 5.5 seconds (with Boost Mode engaged) on its way to a top speed of 124 MPH. The Torque Control Manager actively distributes the power between the rear wheels as necessary for maximum dynamics and stability. Since the battery is cleverly integrated into the floor of the vehicle, the e-tron offers a balanced axle load distribution and a low center of gravity - an essential component its dynamic handling ability.

Audi e-tron Charging

Smart Charging and Aerodynamics

On the Audi e-tron, the Combined Charging System (CCS) enables charging with DC or AC electrical current. Spend just a half an hour at a 150 kWh rapid charging column to receive an 80% battery charge. Giving it an unmistakable appearance, the e-tron sports a coupe-like silhouette with the extremely flat greenhouse that tapers strongly toward the rear. Although it's certainly quite stylish, this design contributes towards creating the model's incredible efficiency. Achieving a new benchmark in the SUV segment, the e-tron has a drag coefficient of 0.30. Understanding that more than 80 percent of charging takes place at home, Audi and Amazon Home Services have teamed up to provide in-home installation of a Level 2 charging system for your e-tron.

Audi e-tron Interior

Luxurious Interior

Offering more space than any midsize luxury electric SUV, the Audi e-tron has up to 57 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. You'll also find yourself surrounded with premium standard features such as heated/cooled seats, top view camera, distinctive badging, and all-new ergonomically designed shifter. Connectivity remains a priority with the MMI touch response® system which features a detailed map displaying where drivers can travel on the vehicle's current charge. It's also the first Audi model to feature standard Toll Module Integration, eliminating the need for state-specifics transponders. Amazon Alexa is fully integrated into the e-tron for seamless access to news, information, music, audiobooks, and more.
